History of the Company:
Steamboat Restaurant Group has an exciting history here in Steamboat. It started when Mazzola’s was purchased in September of 2004. On December 1, 2006, Steamboat Restaurant Group opened a full service breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service concept in the Steamboat Holiday Inn. Rex's American Grill & Bar has been a fantastic addition to the Steamboat Restaurant Group family. It has lead to the establishment of Rex's Events & Catering Company in 2008. In June 2008 a third concept was added to the family of restaurants, Big House Burgers and Bottle Cap Bar located on the west end of town. Big House Burgers specializes in high quality burgers made from local beef raised right here in the Yampa and Elk River Valleys at River Ranches Beef.
